This position is responsible for operating planer and boring mills to machine parts of varying shapes and finishes for industrial applications. The operator interprets drawings, paperwork, and prints to properly set up and machine components, ensuring required tolerances, consistent quality, and compliance with safety standards. Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude are essential for identifying and resolving machining issues and meeting customer requirements.
**This is a second shift role**
Major Accountabilities:
- Set up and operate planer and boring mills to machine rough partsÂ
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environmentÂ
- Accurately document production output, machine maintenance, and quality inspectionÂ
