Michigan engineering firm specializing in athletic and recreational facilities projects is hiring a Civil Engineer for their office in the Detroit area!


Responsibilities:
  • Ability to grow in organization with project management/design responsibilities 
  • Work on projects from planning/design through completion
  • Prepare project plan documents/reports
  • As part of the design team, plan, schedule and coordinate technical aspect of projects
  • Communicate/resolve technical issues
  • Present/explain designs
  • Review/respond to construction RFIs and submittals
 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • Sports/recreation design experience (including Athletic Fields) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of site grading concepts
  • Knowledge/interpretation of code compliance requirements and industry standards and all areas of design/design methods
  • Experience with schematic design, design development and construction documents
  • Proficient in relevant drafting/design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat

 

Salary is commensurate with experience.
