Our biggest priority is providing outstanding customer service & revolutionizing the industry through the use of the latest technology.   Job Purpose In your role as a Fleet Manager, you will oversee the management and maintenance of our fleet of vehicles used in waste collection, disposal, and recycling operations. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of the fleet while meeting regulatory requirements and supporting our sustainability goals.   Duties and Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to: Oversee the daily operations of the company’s fleet, including waste collection vehicles, trucks, and specialized equipment. Monitor vehicle usage and performance to ensure timely and efficient operations in line with service schedules and customer expectations. Ensure timely repairs and troubleshooting of mechanical issues, working closely with in-house maintenance teams or external vendors. Maintain records of all fleet maintenance, repairs, and inspections, and ensure vehicles comply with safety and environmental regulations. Ensure all fleet operations adhere to safety standards, local, state, and federal regulations, and environmental laws. Conduct regular safety audits, vehicle inspections, and driver training to minimize accidents and vehicle downtime. Monitor fleet performance data using telematics and other tracking systems, generating reports on fuel consumption, vehicle performance, and other key metrics. Provide regular reports on fleet operations, maintenance status, and budget performance to senior management. Supervise and manage a team of drivers, mechanics, and fleet personnel, ensuring high performance, accountability, and compliance with company policies.  QualificationsQualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, fleet management, or a related field (preferred). Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet management, preferably in waste management or a related industry. In-depth knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair, and safety regulations. Strong understanding of fleet management software, telematics, and other tracking systems. Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Proven experience in managing a team and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Ability to work in both an office and outdoor environment, including occasional site visits to inspect fleet operations.
