Position OverviewÂ
ROOST Detroit is seeking a flexible, attentive, and highly reliable Front Desk Concierge to support our guests and property. This role is ideal for someone who excels in guest service, maintains a polished and professional presence, and can confidently handle both hospitality and operational tasks. As the first point of contact in the guest experience, you’ll ensure the safety, comfort, and seamless experience of all guests throughout.Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Welcome and assist guests with warmth, professionalism, and efficiencyÂ
- Manage check‑ins, check‑outs, and reservation inquiries Â
- Respond promptly to guest requests, questions, and concernsÂ
- Monitor building access and maintain a secure, calm environmentÂ
- Conduct property walkthroughs and report any maintenance or safety issuesÂ
- Handle phone calls, emails, and guest communicationsÂ
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and daily reportsÂ
- Support light administrative tasks and prepare materials for the teamÂ
- Ensure the lobby and front desk areas remain clean, organized, and guest‑readyÂ
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management as neededÂ
QualificationsÂ
- 1+ year of front desk, concierge, or guest‑service experience (hotel or luxury residential preferred)Â
- Strong communication skills and a naturally warm, guest‑focused demeanorÂ
- Ability to remain composed, professional, and attentive during quiet or high‑pressure momentsÂ
- Comfortable working independently and making sound decisionsÂ
- Basic proficiency with reservation systems and front‑office softwareÂ
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skillsÂ
- Flexible schedule with availability for overnight shifts, weekends, and holidaysÂ

Working Conditions/Environment:Â
- The person having this position may have to stand and/or walk, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach and stretch for eight (8) hours per day.
