About The Position
 We are seeking a board-certified Ophthalmologist for a 90-day locum tenens assignment at a hospital in Michigan. This opportunity begins on 06/02/2025, and involves working Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, totaling 40 hours per week. The ophthalmologist will be responsible for providing general ophthalmology services and performing surgeries, with a preference for candidates who have experience in oculoplastics. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with a wide range of ophthalmological procedures and patient care. Proficiency in Epic EMR is required. There is potential for extension beyond the initial assignment period.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide comprehensive ophthalmology services
• Perform eye examinations and diagnose ocular conditions
• Conduct general ophthalmological surgeries
• Perform oculoplastic procedures (preferred)
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and therapies as needed
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
• Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation
• Maintain excellent patient care and satisfaction
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
• Participate in any required meetings or training sessions
• Stay current with advancements in ophthalmology
Additional Information:
• Must be board-certified in Ophthalmology
• Active Michigan medical license required
• Experience in oculoplastics is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
