Overview
We are seeking a skilled Massage Therapist to support in the Detroit, MI聽region. The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting health and wellness through therapeutic massage techniques. This is a聽1099 position.
Duties
- Perform various types of massages including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and other specialized techniques
- Conduct patient assessments to determine the most suitable massage treatments
- Provide exceptional patient service and care during massage sessions
- Utilize medical terminology effectively in patient interactions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
- Must have a valid state massage therapy license
- Must be punctual and professional with excellent customer service skills
- Proficient knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Ability to conduct physical examinations for massage suitability
- Strong skills in acute pain management
- Excellent patient assessment capabilities
- Prior experience in deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy is preferred
Job Type: Full-time - 1099
Pay Structure (1099):
- Guaranteed base pay of $1200聽per week
- Base is calculated at $40/patient visit for a minimum of 6 patients per day
- $40聽per additional patient visit for any visits beyond the daily base of 6.聽
Schedule:聽路 Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm
