Role Overview

We are seeking a Merchandiser / Relief Sales Representative to support assigned retail accounts by merchandising products and serving as the primary store-level sales representative when needed. This role focuses on product stocking, rotation, ordering, and in-store execution while providing strong customer service across multiple locations in eastern Michigan.

Merchandising Responsibilities

• Travel to assigned retail locations to stock, rotate, and merchandise products according to company standards

• Transport product between backroom and display floor and maintain organize backstock areas

• Ensure proper product rotation, freshness, and presentation

• Provide superior customer service

Relief Rep Responsibilities

• Fill in as the primary store-level sales representative when needed

• Sell product inventory to standard and company guidelines

• Grow sales volume, product distribution, and shelf space within assigned accounts

• Execute promotions and support display and equipment placement

• Maintain positive relationships with store management and customers

• Complete paperwork in an accurate, legible, and timely manner

Qualifications

• 18 years or older

• Must have reliable transportation to access multi-store locations within assigned shift

• Valid U.S. driver's license and proof of insurance

• Ability to lift, load, push, and pull up to 20 lbs. per case repeatedly over work period.

• Ability to bend, reach, and squat repeatedly over work period.

Helpful Experience

• Merchandising, route-based, or field service experience

• Food, beverage, or retail merchandising experience

• Inventory management, ordering, or stock rotation

• Customer-facing sales or business-to-business selling

• Experience using handheld devices or mobile systems

Schedule

• 8-10-hour shifts

• Day shift, Monday to Friday with occasional weekend availability as needed
