- JOB SUMMARY
Â
This position is responsible to provide support in all areas of the complex payroll including but not limited to hours and earnings, statutory and voluntary deductions, garnishments, 401K, termination and final checks, and special projects. Qualified candidate is also responsible to prepare reports in conformance with legislated requirements or company needs and addresses employees concerns regarding payroll. This position reports to the Payroll Manager.

- POSITION REQUIREMENTS -- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Update and reconcile payroll balance sheets on a weekly basis.
- Entry of employees information, but not limited to new hires, terminations, rate changes, tax and address changes.
- Review weekly hour's submittals from field accounts to ensure they adhere to DOL regulations as well as meet corporate financial requirements.
- Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines.
- Attention to detail and keen sense of safeguarding other people's information.
- Certify payroll billing information as required.
- Adhere to all applicable safety practices.
- Maintain various Excel spreadsheets.
- Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices.
- Promote and exhibit Company culture and values.
- Other duties as assigned by management.

- ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Â
- High School Diploma
- 2+ years experience working with payroll and timekeeping systems.
- Strong math and data entry skills
- Microsoft Office (strong emphasis in Excel). Experience with ADP, E-time, and Aspire preferred
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment.
- Exceptional Customer Service
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
