  • Review electrical drawings, specifications, contracts, scopes of work, and construction schedules.

  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, material procurement, project documentation, and closeout requirements.

  • Work closely with estimating and BIM/VDC teams to ensure accurate scope, constructability, coordination, and field execution.

  • Lead project meetings and maintain consistent communication with clients, general contractors, inspectors, design teams, and company leadership.

  • Monitor project performance and proactively address labor, material, scheduling, coordination, and financial risks.

  • Support field operations by ensuring crews have the information, materials, and resources required to maintain productivity.

  • Track project changes and ensure additional work is properly documented, priced, approved, and billed.

  • Maintain accountability for project safety, quality, schedule, financial performance, and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Direct experience working for a commercial electrical contractor or self-performing electrical construction company is required.

  • Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, installation methods, construction sequencing, labor planning, and field operations.

  • Proven ability to independently manage electrical projects from startup through final closeout.

  • Strong experience with project budgeting, forecasting, billing, procurement, labor productivity, and change order management.

  • Strong understanding of project cost control and financial accountability.

  • Excellent leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

  • Experience with healthcare, hospitals, higher education, institutional, or other large-scale commercial projects is strongly preferred.
