Caniff Liberty Academy is hiring School Bus Drivers to safely transport students to and from school and activities while maintaining a secure, respectful environment on every route.

Key Responsibilities

Drive assigned routes on schedule, picking up and dropping off students at designated stops
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections daily
Maintain a clean, safe bus environment
Transport students and staff on field trips as needed
Operate accessible/ramp buses when assigned, including securing wheelchairs properly
Stay current on Michigan traffic code requirements through ongoing driving training
Follow all supervisor directives and district policies

Requirements

Required

Valid Michigan CDL with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements
Yellow Card (Course Completion) or Green Card (Continuing Education) from a Michigan RESA/ISD
DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate
Clean driving record
Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
High school diploma or equivalent
Reliable commute to Detroit, MI 48211

Preferred

2+ years of school bus driving experience
