Position Summary
The Temporary Architectural Designer will work on DCDC projects from mid-August 2026 through December 18, 2026. They will work with DCDC staff and consultants to develop and implement community engagement processes, development engagement materials and develop architectural drawings.
Â
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- General office administration – weekly
- Work on community-engaged architecture and urban design projects including design development, construction documentation and specifications, graphic representation, community engagement and production of draft and final deliverables – daily, weekly
Minimum Qualifications
- Education - A college degree
- Educational background in Architecture
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Architecture
- Familiar with AutoCAD, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign)
Physical Requirements
Job may require lifting light-weight objects (1 to 10 pounds) with no repetitive bending or stooping. Occasionally lift average weight objects (1 to 10 pounds). Â

Work Environment
Occasional exposure to objectionable conditions or variations such as those found in variable weather conditions or light industrial settings. Â
