Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
Supervision & TrainingÂ
- Train beneficiaries on Kitchen Safety and Compliance protocolsÂ
- Supervise daily work therapy performance, including cooking and cleaningÂ
- Provide regular feedback and direction to beneficiariesÂ
- Ensure compliance with Health Department policiesÂ
Menu & Inventory ManagementÂ
- Create and update menus using Cycle Menu Management SystemÂ
- Maximize use of donated goodsÂ
- Maintain kitchen and canteen inventoriesÂ
- Generate timely orders based on stock, cost, and needsÂ
- Source and coordinate food donationsÂ
Operations ManagementÂ
- Monitor canteen sales and card trackingÂ
- Maintain kitchen log communicationsÂ
- Execute Health Department policiesÂ
- Prepare for regular inspectionsÂ
- Coordinate with Kitchen Supervisor on all operationsÂ

QualificationsÂ
Education & ExperienceÂ
- High school diploma or equivalent requiredÂ
- ServSafe and Allergen training certifications requiredÂ
- Kitchen management experience preferredÂ
Skills & AbilitiesÂ
- Supervisory skills (oversee and train, not work alongside)Â
- Computer proficiency for inventory and communicationsÂ
- Strong mathematical abilities for measurements and portionsÂ
