Job Summary:

The Marketing & Youth Engagement Assistant is a seasonal role with the Detroit Tigers that supports the Brand Marketing team with a focus on youth fan engagement and Detroit Tigers Kids Club operations. The position assists with gameday service, membership coordination, logistics, and creative project support to enhance the experience for young fans. It also contributes to events and broader marketing initiatives as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General administrative support to the Brand Marketing department, with focus on youth fan engagement and program coordination

  • Support operational aspects of the Detroit Tigers Kids Club, fostering connections between young fans and the Tigers brand

  • Deliver exceptional customer service at the Kids Club Kiosk during Tigers home games, creating memorable gameday experiences for members

  • Support membership sales initiatives by promoting Kids Club benefits to prospective families and facilitating enrollment processes

  • Assist with logistics and fulfillment of Kids Club membership kits and promotional items to ensure timely delivery to members

  • Manage creative project pipeline by processing requests, tracking deliverables, and communicating status updates to stakeholders

  • Contribute innovative concepts and strategies to enhance Kids Club programming and member engagement

  • Serve as primary point of contact to share program updates, event announcements and important information while also addressing general questions and concerns

  • Assist in planning and execution of both onsite and offsite events

  • Provide flexible support to the broader Brand Marketing team on various projects and initiatives as needed

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • College senior or recent college graduate.

  • Prior internship or administrative experience.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Professional demeanor and attitude in office setting.

  • Strong computer skills with high level of experience in Microsoft Office.

  • Detail oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

  • Exposure to moderate noise level

  • Exposure to cold and warm outdoor temperatures for long periods of time

  • Ability to lift heavy boxes and stand for long periods of time

  • Frequent visual/auditory attention

  • This position will require working non-traditional hours, including weekends and evenings
