We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a heavy-duty electrical equipment warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory control, accurate order fulfillment, safe material handling, and effective supervision of warehouse personnel. This role manages receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of electrical components, equipment, and materials while maintaining strict compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.


The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience managing warehouse teams, and familiarity with inventory systems and industrial equipment handling.


Duties & Responsibilities: 
•    Oversee all warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of electrical equipment and materials.
•    Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment to support customer and project requirements.
•    Maintain efficient warehouse layout and material flow to maximize productivity.
•    Monitor daily operations and implement improvements to optimize workflow.
Inventory Control
•    Manage inventory levels of electrical components, tools, and heavy-duty equipment.
•    Conduct regular cycle counts and annual physical inventory audits.
•    Maintain inventory accuracy using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP systems.
•    Coordinate with purchasing and operations teams to manage stock levels and prevent shortages.
Team Leadership & Supervision
•    Supervise warehouse staff including forklift operators, shipping/receiving clerks, and warehouse associates.
•    Schedule staff and assign daily tasks based on operational priorities.
•    Provide training on safety procedures, warehouse equipment, and operational processes.
•    Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and disciplinary action when necessary.
Safety & Compliance
•    Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company safety policies.
•    Maintain a safe work environment including proper handling of heavy materials and electrical equipment.
•    Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
•    Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Logistics & Coordination
•    Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with vendors, suppliers, and carriers.
•    Ensure proper documentation for all shipments and receipts.
•    Work closely with purchasing, project managers, and sales teams to support operational needs.
Reporting & Performance Metrics
•    Track key warehouse performance indicators such as:
o    Order accuracy
o    Inventory accuracy
o    Shipping timelines
o    Labor productivity
•    Prepare operational reports for leadership.
Qualifications
Education
Preferred:
•    Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Logistics, or related field
Required:
•    High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant warehouse management experience
Experience
•    5+ years of warehouse or distribution experience
•    3+ years of warehouse supervisory or management experience
•    Experience in industrial, electrical supply, manufacturing, or construction materials preferred warehouse environments
