Job DetailsJob Location: DEWEY, OK 74029Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: AnyFlatbed Truck Driver Position Summary The Flatbed Truck Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of materials using a flatbed trailer. This position requires proper load securement, equipment inspections, and compliance with all federal, state, and company safety regulations. Essential Job Duties Operate a flatbed tractor-trailer to transport materials to designated locations Secure loads using chains, binders, straps, tarps, and other load securement devices Inspect loads to ensure proper weight distribution and compliance with DOT regulations Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle and trailer Maintain accurate driver logs and required transportation documentation Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and supervisors Report mechanical issues, accidents, or delays promptly Assist with loading and unloading when required Perform other general labor duties as assigned QualificationsRequired Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Ability to operate manual or automatic transmission (if applicable) Knowledge of load securement regulations Ability to pass DOT drug screen and physical Preferred Qualifications Prior flatbed experience Experience hauling steel, pipe, lumber, heavy equipment, or oversized loads Familiarity with tarping procedures Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds Frequent climbing on and off truck and trailer Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and securing loads Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Work Environment Primarily outdoor work environment Exposure to heat, cold, rain, wind, and dust Extended periods of driving May require overnight or extended travel depending on route  Compliance Statement This position requires compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations, including DOT safety standards.
