Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes but not limited to:

Must have prior CNC Lathe experience. Experience with Tsugami Swiss type machines is preferred.
Produce quality parts and maintain production levels.
Basic cleaning, oiling and general maintenance of CNC machines.
Continuously stock machines with production materials as required.
Change tools, drills and inserts in machine as needed.
Knowledge and skills to read blueprints required.
Basic computer skills preferred.
Knowledge and skills to read micrometers (O.D. Mics, I.D. Mics, Calipers) required.
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma plus one to three years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Ability to read and interpret measuring equipment such as gages, blueprints, micrometers, calipers, depth mics, comparators and profilometers.

· Must be self-directed and take initiative to learn new skills pertaining to maintenance of the assigned machines.

· Requires a basic understanding of how to use the tools required in the operation and maintenance of the CNC machines.

· Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.

· Long periods of Standing throughout the workday are required

· Mechanically and mathematically inclined.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED TO PERFORM JOB:

Ability to read blueprints.
Use of depth micrometers, pin gages, calipers, comparator, and other basic gage methods required for verifying part quality.
Basic computer skills.
Able to lift 50 pounds.
Good mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work well with others.

Requirements

Day Shift Hours- 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday

Night Shift Hours- 4:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Monday - Friday ($2.00 per hour shift premium)
