The Welder is responsible for assembling and welding components according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and job specifications. The role ensures product quality, maintains safe work practices, performs basic equipment maintenance, and supports production requirements through accurate fabrication and adherence to safety and 5S standards.

• Welding processes and techniques
• Blueprint and weld symbol interpretation
• Welding equipment operation
• Safety procedures for hot work operations
Responsibilities:
• Selecting welding processes and machine settings
• Choosing filler materials and consumables
• Preparing materials through grinding, cleaning, or beveling
• Verifying proper part alignment and fit-up before welding
• Inspecting weld quality and determining rework requirements
• Identifying blueprint or instruction inconsistencies
• Replacing worn welding consumables
• Reporting unsafe conditions or equipment issues
• Recommending improvements to welding methods or fixtures
The Welder position requires a high level of attention to detail, technical skill, and adherence to safety standards. The role plays a critical part in ensuring structural integrity, product quality, and production efficiency within the manufacturing process.
