Materials Testing Consultants, Inc. seeks individuals who work well independently and in team environments and are interested in starting or gaining additional experience in the construction and materials testing fields. You will be responsible for sampling, testing, inspecting, reporting and providing quality assurance for aggregate and construction materials. This role involves self-motivation, organization, attention to detail, consistency physical activity.

Materials Testing Consultants has one (1) opening for full time, detail-oriented, well organized Lab Technician.

Responsibilities:

  • Documenting and recording information accurately
  • Process and communicate information in a timely manner
  • Maintaining a clean and organized working Lab
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Providing health and safety assessments and regulatory oversight
  • Maintain safety protocols and practices

Qualifications:

  • High School degree or GED required
  • Reliable transportation to facility
  • Consistent attendance to ensure a high level of quality service
  • Inspector/Technical mindset
  • Accuracy and strong communication skills
  • High ethical standards
  • Organized in thought with strong critical thinking skills
  • Pre-employment drug screen, physical with 50lb lift test, background test with a Motor Vehicle Report

Further Qualifications:

  • OSHA 10 Hour (preferred, not required - MTC will provide)
  • Aggregate Level 1 (preferred, not required - MTC will provide)
  • QC/CA (preferred, but not required - MTC will provide)
  • Previous experience with Construction Materials Testing
