Overview
The Information Technology (IT) Technician I provides the first level of support to users of SES IT equipment located onsite and offsite.
Responsibilities
- Good customer service skills
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Possesses basic knowledge of IT industry practices and standards
- Working under close supervision, assists with solving routine problems identified to the Help Desk
- Install Windows OS, drivers and applications to bare metal systems in preparation for SES configurations to be applied
- Conducts installation and maintenance of systems/equipment, and provides associated training to customer personnel
- Diagnose, isolate, and correct problems to component level to restore system's functions
- Communicates with users and other technicians to ensure problems are resolved in a timely manner
- Updates required documentation in according to SES practice or procedure
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education:
- Associate Degree in computer related field
Experience:
- 0-2 years IT support experience
Any combination of education/experience may be substituted for job requirements at the recommendation of the hiring manager and approval of the COO and CEO.
