Laundry Supervisor

Overview

The Laundry Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and coordination of the laundry services and the growth of facility and community resources.  

Responsibilities

Provides comprehensive standards, practices, and programs that meet the needs and best interests of the community and residents. Manages the selection, training, development, and performance of assigned staff.  Maintains inventory of laundry supplies, and coordinates purchases with the purchasing coordinator.  Develops, maintains, and implements infection control and universal precaution policies.

Qualifications

Qualifications Required

• High school diploma.

Qualifications Preferred

• Experience in a health care setting.
• Two (2) or more years of supervisory experience.
