Job Summary:

As a Construction Foreman, you will lead and mentor a crew in the execution of underground and aboveground petroleum projects. You will be responsible for the daily oversight and coordination of construction activities, encompassing team leadership, effective communication, project management, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead andparticipatein the installation of underground and aboveground fuel storage tanks.
  • Lead andparticipatein the outfitting and dressing of fuel storage tanks.
  • Lead andparticipatein the installation of fuel product piping for underground and aboveground applications.
  • Lead andparticipatein the installation of fuel product dispenser sumps and dispensers for underground and aboveground fuel storage applications.
  • Accurately complete all required forms, reports, logs, and records of installations.
  • Proficiently shoot grades andestablishelevations.
  • Interpret and understand blueprints and product specifications.
  • Prepare andsubmitdaily reports, including required paperwork andconstructionsite photos.
  • Foster and promote a strong safety culture within the crew.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles and ensure project completion.
  • Operate all necessary heavy equipmentrequiredfor project phases.
  • Facilitate the professional growth of crew members through hands-on technical training.
  • Collaborate effectively with subcontractors tomaintainproject momentum and adherence to safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong time management skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiencyin using lasers and grade rods.
  • Ability toutilizecurrent technology, including tablets and smartphones.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in petroleum construction.
