PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Provides high level administrative support to the Executive Office Administrative team at Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation (BBAHC). Support includes assistance in managing the CEO and COO daily activities. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in public health administration, business administration, or related field of study. 
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
  4. Understanding of Alaska Native people, Tribes, Tribal organizations and cultures. 
  5. Must have basic office skills, good filing skills, both manual and electronic. 
  6. Works with limited direction and takes the initiative to complete tasks and projects in a timely manner. 
  7. Must have experience scheduling meetings and taking notes. 

Preferred/Desired Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree in public health administration, business administration, or related field of study. 
  2. Experience working in a rural health care environment and with governmental agencies.
