Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate safety leadership and safety consciousness
- Task train coworkers in the safe and efficient use of equipment
- Ability to manage the sample inventory and related warehouse material, safely, without damage to the people, property, or process
- Makes accurate records of new materials placed into storage. Maintains a full understanding of the storage locations
- Completes periodic daily workplace inspections and corrects problems within individual’s capabilities
- Accurately photographs drill core ensuring natural colors and minimal distortion
- Ensures timely shipments to laboratories and accurately completes required forms
- Demonstrate knowledge of state-wide warehouse locations and the ability to travel to and from these sites safely, while adhering to site safety and protocols
- Ability to identify naming and numbering errors in sample handling procedures
- Ability to read and understand material retrieval requests, collect these materials and ship accordingly.

Qualifications:
- Knowledge and understanding of basic Microsoft office applications required
- Knowledge of safety and environmental policies and practices, and willingness to develop related skills sets requiredÂ
- Maintain a valid State driver’s license for light vehicles. Ability to safely and effectively operate light vehicles required Â
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities required
- Effective organizational and communication skills requiredÂ
- Basic math skills requiredÂ
