About the Role:
TIMELESS DEDICATION LLC is looking for a passionate and dependable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in Prince George, VA. In this rewarding role, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities by providing compassionate, hands-on support every day. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and personal assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, meal preparation, and mobility
- Implement individualized support plans (ISPs) and document progress accurately
- Transport and accompany clients to appointments, community outings, and recreational activities
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions per established protocols
- Foster independence, dignity, and community inclusion for all individuals served
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and care team members
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in direct support, caregiving, or human services preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient, empathetic, and person-centered approach
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Also has to have experience with dealing with difficult behaviors
