Schedule: Monday–Friday. This is a high-volume practice offering a rewarding, team-oriented work environment.     ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:   Performs tasks pertinent to age of patient (infancy to geriatric)  Maintains accurate inventory of medical supplies; assists in the selection of division equipment and supplies.   Performs all nursing procedures (with the exception of certain injections, triage, IVs and IV medications) as directed by the clinician according to the guidelines in the Nursing Procedure Manual.  May be assigned lab duties   Assists in quality assurance and control.                                  Participates in the continuing educational process.  Assists in the efficient flow of patients.  Attends work as scheduled.  Performs related duties as assigned.  KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:   Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality. Professional, courteous, and adaptable. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Works well in a team environment. Familiarity with medical office procedures, equipment, and supplies. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality patient care. Education, Training and QualificationsSuccessful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant or Allied Health Training program  Certification achieved by passing a National exam from a program other than the MA school  Proof of re-certification, if applicable  One year’s experience in a health facility, preferred.  Current CPR certification, preferred.
