ANCOS is looking to hire a Quality Control Technician here at ANCOS in Disputanta, VA. The work schedule is currently planned to be Monday-Friday, 7a – 330p. This position will report directly to the Quality Manager.

Requirements

Below are the Job Description, Qualifications and Physical Requirements for the position:

Perform quality control checks across all stages of production.
Checking that production methods meet relevant specifications and/or SOPs.
Conduct final sample testing before or after packing out to confirm that the material is within the customer’s specification(s).
Keeping accurate results of checks and tests carried out.
Identifying inconsistencies and faults and finding the cause.
Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency.
Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly.
Ensure compliance with company standards and specifications.
Assist with creating Certificates of Analysis/Production Reports for customers.
Assist the Safety Manager by monitoring the production areas for safety issues.
Perform other job-related duties as required.

Qualifications for Quality Control Technician:

Solid understanding of production processes.
Minimum of 2-5 years of inspection and/or production experience.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent organizational skills and able to use Microsoft Word and Excel
Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand for long periods.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
