Harrison County Hospital is seeking a Team Lead for the After Hours Care Clinic.  This position is full-time, 40 hrs/wk.  M-F 12p-8p, Saturday-Sunday 9a-5p, Holidays 9a-2p.  Position is required to work every other weekend and cover shifts for Manager when on vacation.

Under the supervision of the After-Hours Care Manager, this position is responsible for assisting manager with the daily operations, workflow coordination, staff support, patient care oversight, and customer service functions of the After-Hours Clinic. The After-Hours Team Lead serves as a working leader by supporting staff, ensuring clinic efficiency, assisting with scheduling and operational concerns, maintaining regulatory compliance, and promoting exceptional patient care. This position assists in ensuring the proper functioning of the After-Hours Clinic through clinical leadership, communication, and coordination while supporting the mission and goals of Harrison County Hospital. This role would also back up the Manager any time they are out of the office on PDO.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Previous relevant acute care experience required.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Current applicable licensure/certification required.

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with all age groups served in the clinic.
  • Demonstrates ability to involve family and/or significant others in discharge plan of care.
