Job Summary:
The Industrial Painter is responsible for maintaining and operating paint equipment to ensure high quality finish and appearance.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare parts per procedures for coating application
- Utilize pressure pot with HVLP guns to apply coatings
- Must maintain all paint shop equipment to keep it in top working condition
- Load and unload part racks
- Mix paint and tints
- Performs other duties as assigned
Commitments and Location:
- Permanent Full-Time Role Based in Dixon, IL
- Day Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:30am- 5:00pm
- Overtime may be required

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must be able to produce automotive quality finishes
- Basic math skills and understanding how to utilize measuring devices
- Must be able to work as part of a team
Education and Experience:
- 1-2 years’ experience painting with sprayer
- Experience in prepping and applying industrial coatings preferred
- Must be familiar with spray equipment maintenance, adjustments and clean-up
- Forklift experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and painting
- Must have adequate balance and ability to climb ladder
- Must be able to distinguish among colors
