We're looking for an energetic, relationship-focused professional who enjoys connecting with people, planning memorable events, and building partnerships that make a lasting impact. As our Community Engagement Manager, you'll help strengthen community relationships, grow philanthropic support, and increase awareness of Mountain Valley's mission throughout our service area.
What You'll Do
Community Development & Philanthropy
- Engage individuals, businesses, and community partners in supporting Mountain Valley's mission through charitable giving and sponsorships.
- Build meaningful relationships with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners.
- Represent Mountain Valley at community events, civic organizations, networking opportunities, and fundraising activities.
- Help steward donors through meaningful recognition and ongoing engagement.
Event Planning & Execution
- Plan and coordinate fundraising and community events from concept through completion.
- Coordinate event logistics, vendors, sponsorships, volunteers, budgets, and event communications to ensure successful execution.
Collaboration & Organization
- Partner with Marketing and the Philanthropy team to promote events, increase community awareness, and expand support for Mountain Valley's mission.
- Maintain event records, donor information, project timelines, and other documentation to support department operations.
Some evening and weekend events are required.
What You'll Bring
- Experience in fundraising, community relations, event planning, marketing, nonprofit development, or a related field.
- Outstanding organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM or donor management software.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel throughout Mountain Valley's service area.
