Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Donna, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will drive and conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and clear communication while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with store leadership and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving and loading areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III armed certification is required in Texas.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
