SUMMARY

As an Elevation Studio Instructor, you will lead engaging group fitness, yoga, and movement classes at Tamarack Resort. Working alongside the Wellness Director, you’ll deliver consistent weekly classes and provide substitute coverage as needed. We’re looking for an instructor who can confidently lead dynamic, well-structured sessions that support a wide range of fitness levels. Your role is to help participants move well, build strength and mobility, and stay consistent in their wellness routines. At Tamarack, you’ll be part of an active mountain community—your classes should complement the outdoor lifestyle by helping participants improve performance, prevent injury, and feel their best year-round. Your energy, professionalism, and ability to connect with participants will be key to creating a strong studio experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Teach effective fitness classes weekly
  • Sub for other instructors as needed
  • Demonstrate how to perform various exercises
  • Maintain a safe and healthy exercise environment
  • Educate participants on proper techniques to avoid injury
  • Suggest alternative exercises/routines for participants with specific needs
  • Motivate and inspire participants to achieve their fitness goals
  • Teach proper breathing techniques
  • Promote additional club classes and services
  • Properly set up the teaching area with required equipment prior to classes
  • Ensure the teaching area is cleaned and organized after each class
  • Assist with maintaining fitness equipment
  • Assist with the promotion of fitness services
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of fitness trends

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of customer service experience
  • Must be a United States citizen or possess a valid work permit
  • Must be able to speak English, fluency in additional languages is a plus
  • Must be CPR certified or obtain certification before starting
  • Must be able to effectively lead yoga classes
  • Must have experience leading group fitness classes
  • Personal training certification preferred
  • Must have a strong passion for assisting participants in attaining their fitness and wellness goals
  • Must have strong knowledge of the fitness industry
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
