YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:


We are seeking a Mid-Level Test Engineer to help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our AdmitIT product. In this role, you will design and execute test plans, identify defects, collaborate closely with development teams, and contribute to continuous improvement of our testing processes. You will work across manual and automated testing, balance thoroughness with delivery timelines, and help raise the overall quality bar.

Requirements

路 TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph

路 Hands-on experience with test automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Bruno, Cypress, or similar聽

路 Exposure to API testing and related tools聽

路 Comfortable working in a Linux environment or possess a foundational understanding of Linux聽

路 Quick learner with a proactive, adaptable mindset聽

路 Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), functional testing, API testing, accessibility (508), and role-based testing聽

路 Strong documentation skills: manual test cases, test procedures, requirements verification traceability matrices (RVTM), and test plans聽

路 Proficient in GitLab workflow processes聽

路 Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence for project tracking and collaboration


Desired Skills

路 Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts aligned with requirements and specifications聽

路 Execute both manual and automated tests, including functional, regression, UAT, API, accessibility (508), and role-based testing聽

路 Identify, document, track, verify defects, provide clear reproduction steps, expected versus actual results, and severity assessments聽

路 Analyze test outcomes, report 聽聽findings, and deliver actionable feedback to developers and stakeholders聽

路 Collaborate effectively with team members throughout the software development lifecycle聽

路 Contribute to the development and enhancement of test automation frameworks, increasing coverage for critical 聽聽workflows聽

路 Participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning/review sessions聽

路 Help define and refine QA processes, standards, and best practices to drive continuous improvement聽

路 Prioritize testing activities to balance quality assurance with project timelines and deliverables聽

路 Maintain thorough documentation of test artifacts, results, and quality metrics
