Title: Network Engineer

Location: Fort Meade, MD

Clearance: TS/SCI w/CI polygraph

Responsibilities:

Plan, research, design, and model robust cloud-native web applications
Acquire a complete understanding of a customer's technology and appropriate usage of cloud and container technology like AWS and Kubernetes
Responsible for designing, creating, testing, and maintaining web front-end applications hosted in Cloud Service Providers
Interact with the customer and team to gather and define requirements and prototype web applications using wireframing as well as system design tools
Analyze requirements to determine the most effective web technologies to satisfy their needs
Coordinate the creation and collection of necessary technology components and integrate them into a coherent web application design
Follow a formal Agile-based design process
Design and develop visually pleasing, content-rich, user-friendly interfaces with intuitive navigation
Deliver comprehensive web application solutions to satisfy customer requirements and maintain configuration management

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required, with a minimum of 7 years of related work experience; an additional 4 years of work experience may be substituted instead of a degree
Relevant certifications, such as CCIE, CCNP, or JNCIE
Knowledge in a variety of networking technologies and protocols including LAN, WAN, wireless, data center networking, and network security
Strong understanding of federal government security requirements, including FISMA and NIST guidelines
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Current active TS/SCI w/ CI polygraph required
