RF Software Engineer Level 2, Clearance Required – TS/SCI w/Polygraph

         Please note, this position requires all candidates to currently possess an active Top-Secret SCI Clearance with a Polygraph.   This position is not an opportunity to be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance. 

The Program:

      This program delivers Quick Reaction Capability (QRC) solutions to modernize and enhance Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) systems in support of evolving mission requirements. The team is responsible for the full system lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, development, procurement, systems integration, testing, cybersecurity, field deployment, training, operations, sustainment, and technical support. 


Minimum Qualifications:

  • A current Top-Secret/SCI government security clearance with polygraph is required.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline in DSP algorithms from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of RF Software or equivalent experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree. Formal training in, or demonstrated proficiency with, C++/Linux experience is required.
  • Seven (7) years of experience as a DSP Algorithm developer on projects with similar software processes, and seven (7) years of experience with C++, Linux, Python, or a similar development language, is required. Two (2) years may be substituted with a Master's of Science in Engineering or Computer Science; four (4) additional years of DSP experience may be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
As a RF Software Engineer, You Will:
  • Design and implement DSP algorithms in software, with a focus on high-throughput exploitation of signals, low signal to noise ratio, higher-order, and/or adaptive modulations.
  • Conduct necessary modifications to existing software and/or firmware to adapt COTS and GOTS products to meet special Government needs.
  • Provide concise explanation of developed models to allow other team members to understand/utilize models or algorithms for processing signals of interest.

Annual Salary: $96,000-$130,000 paid bi-weekly.

Work Site: Hanover, MD area.  Telework of any kind is not authorized for this position.
