As a Senior Software Engineer – Cryptography & Key Management, you'll have the opportunity to provide technical leadership, contribute to solution design and implementation, and support the development of secure, integrated software solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance interfaces that enable authorization workflows and key management operations across multiple customer environments.
  • Support software development across major solution components, including clients, Portal, Proxy services, and OpenBao-based key management services.
  • Establish and apply software development best practices to support successful implementation of solution designs.
  • Contribute to solution design, implementation, system testing, and defect resolution.
  • Collaborate with project teams through technical communication, planning, and documentation.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project team members throughout software development and implementation activities.
  • Manage day-to-day technical efforts supporting project accomplishments.
  • Participate in project planning and project status communications.
  • Develop detailed solutions for moderately complex projects while considering technical, schedule, and budget constraints.
  • Support the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of complex extensions and configurations addressing customer-specific business processes and workflows.
  • Identify technical risks and support the development of appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with customer management and technical teams to deliver integrated software solutions.
  • Support solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
  • Twelve (12) or more years of relevant professional experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
    • Eight (8) years of equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build strong working relationships with team members and customers.
  • Ability to operate independently while delivering high-quality technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and performance evaluation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within team and matrixed environments.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple responsibilities and take ownership of assigned project or initiative components.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines or changing requirements.

Desired Skills:
