About the Role:
Judy's Island Grill in Glen Burnie, MD is looking for a hardworking and reliable Dishwasher to join our fun, fast-paced kitchen team! You'll play a vital role in keeping our restaurant running smoothly and our guests happy. If you take pride in a clean workspace and love being part of a energetic crew, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish station and back-of-house areas
- Restock clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen supplies for kitchen staff
- Empty trash, sweep, and mop kitchen floors throughout the shift
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to meet health code standards
- Assist kitchen staff with basic prep tasks as needed during slower periods
- Communicate with kitchen team to ensure a steady flow of clean equipment during service
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic understanding of kitchen sanitation and food safety practices preferred
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience a plus, but not required
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
