Compensation & Incentive Breakdown
We believe in full transparency regarding educator compensation. Total annual compensation for this position combines a standard base salary with local voter-approved referendum funding and dedicated degree/endorsement stipends:
- Standard Base Salary: $47,566.61 – $49,644.77 (Based on certification status and verified years of teaching experience)
- Miami-Dade County Referendum Pay: $1,000.00 – $11,000.00 annually (Paid bi-weekly on regular payroll via local voter-approved millage)
- Master’s Degree Supplement: Additional $2,500.00 annually (Conferred degree in a directly related field)
- Reading Endorsement Supplement: Additional $1,000.00 annually (For ELA/Reading instructional coverage)
- ESOL Endorsement Supplement: Additional $500.00 annually (For General Education teachers holding a valid ESOL endorsement)
- Note on Referendum Pay: Referendum supplements are funded through local voter-approved county ad-valorem tax millage and passed directly to charter school teachers on a pro-rata basis according to verified years of full-time teaching experience.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, internalize, and facilitate standards-aligned, rigorous lessons tailored to diverse learning styles.
Implement formal and informal assessments, analyze student data to pivot instruction, and update gradebooks weekly.
Establish strong, cooperative partnerships with families, providing weekly updates on student progress.
Uphold a positive classroom behavior management system aligned with school-wide character initiatives.
Utilize technology effectively as an educational tool and host targeted tutoring sessions to meet individual student needs.
Dedicate 40+ hours per week to instruction, meetings, professional development, and school community duties.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution.
Certification: Active Florida State Teaching Certification (Elementary Education preferred).
Skills: Strong classroom management, lesson adaptation, organization, and interpersonal communication.
Compliance: Successful completion of a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Preferred:
Prior instructional experience in a K-12 classroom setting.
Familiarity with Florida learning standards and FAST exam preparation.
