About the Role
The Fleet Supervisor oversees DME/Pharmacy Driver operations and warehouse maintenance, working closely with the Warehouse Manager to keep both areas running efficiently. This role manages vehicle maintenance schedules, mileage and fuel tracking, and driver protocol compliance, while also supervising DME Technicians, Drivers, and Pharmacy Drivers who handle equipment maintenance, repair, and patient deliveries. The ideal candidate brings a mix of technical know-how, strong leadership, and a collaborative mindset to ensure regulatory compliance and excellent patient care.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor vehicle maintenance, mileage, and fuel usage to ensure cost efficiency
  • Track and manage inventory, documenting received goods and reporting discrepancies
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to prevent losses
  • Develop workflows to improve productivity and reduce costs
  • Enforce safety policies and OSHA standards; conduct regular safety inspections
  • Oversee product quality inspections and address discrepancies
  • Manage route plans for Pharmacy Drivers
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance and staffing reports for leadership
  • Resolve operational issues, equipment malfunctions, and team concerns quickly
  • Maintain equipment per manufacturer guidelines and manage recalls
  • Report safety or compliance issues to the Compliance Officer
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards
  • Recruit, hire, and directly supervise DME/Pharmacy Driver staff
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations and set goals for direct reports
  • Travel to multiple sites monthly (or as needed) to inspect vehicles

Requirements

  • Prior experience in fleet, warehouse, or logistics supervision (healthcare/DME experience a plus)
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards
  • Ability to travel locally to multiple sites as needed
  • Valid driver's license
