We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our team at Miami Cerebral Palsy Residential Services, Inc.

The cook prepares nutritious meals for patients and residents while adhering to strict dietary guidelines and maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen environment. Key duties include following recipes, monitoring food temperatures, managing inventory, and collaborating with dietitians to ensure patient nutritional needs are met. The role requires a strong understanding of food safety regulations and the ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare and kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Assist in menu planning to ensure a variety of nutritious and appealing options.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all food handling processes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food preparation in a healthcare institution (1 year minimum).
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and follow menus.
• Able to use industrial kitchen equipment.
• Must have the ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Must have ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
