Leon Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Worker Led to oversee daily facilities operations, ensure safety and compliance, and guide a team of Maintenance Workers toward excellence.

Key Responsibilities

As our Maintenance Worker Lead, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality, safety, and efficiency of our facilities:

  • Oversee all maintenance operations, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building upkeep.

  • Use YARDI Facilities Manager to manage work orders, track maintenance activities, and generate reports.

  • Analyze maintenance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.

  • Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and internal standards.

  • Lead, train, and support a team of Maintenance Workers.

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.

  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs.

  • Ensure all maintenance activities meet safety standards and best practices.

  • Assist with budget planning and cost‑control strategies.

  • Respond to facility‑related emergencies and minimize operational disruptions.

  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and special projects.

  • Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent customer service at all times.

Work Environment

  • Indoor and outdoor work required.

  • Must complete 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.

  • Ability to work extended hours when needed.

  • Active, hands‑on role requiring climbing, bending, lifting, and other physical activities.

We’re looking for a strong leader with proven technical expertise:

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

  • Highly organized with strong follow‑up and time‑management skills.

  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and on‑call shifts.

  • Bilingual: English and Spanish.

  • Valid Florida Driver’s License.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
