The Opportunity
We are looking for a Program Manager to own the day-to-day management, growth, and launch of our training program for HVAC contractors. This role is focused on taking the program from pilot to full scale across Watsco's Business Unit network — ensuring every cohort launches successfully, every Business Unit is activated, and the program delivers measurable results for contractors and Watsco alike.
Key Responsibilities
Program Management
- Own the day-to-day operations of the program — keeping cohorts on schedule, activated, and the program running smoothly.
- Manage the full cohort launch process across all applicable Business Units.
- Track KPIs and program performance — maintaining dashboards, reporting on results, and flagging issues proactively to leadership.
- Act as the primary internal advocate — ensuring the program has the resources and support it needs to scale.
Business Unit & Provider Relationships
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Business Units participating in the program — keeping relationships healthy, informed, and engaged.
- Conduct regular business reviews to assess program performance and surface growth opportunities.
Growth Planning & Execution
- Own the growth plan — defining goals, adoption targets, and key milestones.
- Identify opportunities to expand the program.
- Support growth planning for other ecosystem solutions as directed by leadership.
Ecosystem Support
- Support the day-to-day activation and management of other Watsco Ventures solutions as needed.
- Identify gaps in the current ecosystem and bring opportunities to leadership's attention.
- Support the identification of new ecosystem opportunities as directed by leadership.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of experience in program management, account management, business development, or a related field.
- A strong operator — you know how to take a program from early stage to full scale and keep it running smoothly.
- Organized and detail-oriented — you can manage multiple cohorts, relationships, and growth plans without dropping the ball.
- A strong communicator — confident representing Watsco Ventures and the TradeStars program.
- Proactive — you surface opportunities and challenges before they become problems.
- Collaborative — you work well with marketing, operations, and leadership.
- Familiarity with HVAC, trades, SaaS, or fintech is a plus.
