Job DetailsJob Location: Doral 5605 NW 82ND Avenue - Doral, FL 33166Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: Graduate DegreeSalary Range: $50,000.00 - $50,000.00 Salary/yearJob Category: Nonprofit - Social ServicesPosition Summary: The person in this position will be responsible for planning and coordinating the clinical activities pertaining to services for families. Conducts admissions for consumers referred from outside agencies. Conducts assessments for consumers and provides individual and family therapy. Essential Job Functions: Receive referrals for families at risk of getting their children removed from the home Work with family members to develop a service plan to target specific needs and establish goals for the program. Complete a comprehensive assessment of the family's life domains in order to assist in locating areas in their lives that need strengthening. Provide short-term, in-home services aimed at stabilizing the family and teaching: Problem solving skills, parenting skills, behavior strategies, budgeting, community resources, identifying needs of the children, safety in the home, hygiene, nutrition, conflict resolution, anger management, behavior modification, discipline, budgeting, time management, community resources and job skills training. Develop overarching therapeutic goal for substance abusing caretaker and work with on several important issues including child development, parent individual functioning, family/parenting functioning and case management/community. Develop and maintain clinical records and program documentation according to contractual guidelines to include (assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, termination summaries, etc...) Document all clinical services and activities in accord with licensing, Medicaid, and Joint Commission standards and agency policy and procedure Participate in treatment and/or multidisciplinary teams, department meetings, multidisciplinary, supervision meetings, and audit preparation meetings. Respond to any identified needs by making referral(s) and following up with linkages to ensure success. Conduct admission and Biopsychosocial assessments using standardized Biopsychosocial assessment designated by the Managing Entity (ME). Develop Wellness and Recovery Plans in collaboration with the consumer, as needed Conduct monthly Wellness and Recovery Plan Reviews with the consumer, as needed Prepare and review Interpretive Summaries to ensure they are based on information obtained from the assessment Write monthly Progress Reports regarding assigned consumers for courts, probation departments, Department of Corrections, and employers as necessary Consult with Program Coordinator and Clinical Coordinator before the termination of a consumer from treatment Provide referral and linkage for ancillary services for the consumer and family, as needed Provide in-home/on-site individual therapy, as needed. Provide in-home/on-site group therapy, as needed. Provides therapy to additional populations, as needed. Participate in case conference QualificationsEssential Qualifications:   Certifications/Licensures: Certification as a CAP or MCAP, in good standing by an agency approved and recognized by the Florida Certification Board is preferred at time of hire; Preference will be given to those candidates who are currently Certified; Licensure as a LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in good standing by an agency approved and recognized by the state of Florida is preferred at time of hire; Preference will be given to those candidates who are currently licensed.   Education: Graduation from an accredited masters program with a degree in Addiction Counseling, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology or related field is required    Experience and Competencies:  Two years of previously supervised work experience in providing individual/family therapy is preferred Bilingual is preferred. Must have reliable means of transportation Must have familiarity with Miami-Dade and/or Broward County CPR Certification, First Aid Certification and an annual Tuberculosis test.  Ability utilize Microsoft Office Software Suite Ability to provide an Affidavit of Good Moral Character Clearance in Pre-Employment Drug Testing and Criminal Records Checks, as required.
