Job DetailsJob Location: Main Office - Dothan, AL 36303Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayThe Program Services Director provides leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for all program services at WRC, Inc. This position is responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and continuously improving comprehensive rehabilitation, employment, evaluation, and transition services. The Program Services Director ensures service quality, regulatory compliance, accreditation readiness, fiscal responsibility, and alignment with WRC’s mission and organizational outcomes.Qualifications  Education/Training 1.    Master’s degree in rehabilitation services, psychology, sociology, education or other appropriate area of human service. Work Experience 1.    Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in one or more of the following:  rehabilitation services, counseling, rehabilitation facility work, special education, administration. Knowledge Required 1.    Knowledge of leadership roles and responsibility 2.    Knowledge of group and individual counseling techniques, strategies 3.    Knowledge of behavioral change techniques 4.    Knowledge of rehabilitation concepts, approaches Skills/Aptitudes/Temperaments 1.    Ability to plan and develop a program of Center services to meet the needs of consumers referred to Center and those employed at the Center 2.    Ability to lead people and develop leadership in others 3.    Ability to organize, synthesize, analyze and draw conclusions for program improvement from a vast array of data 4.    Ability to supervise and direct staff, employees and consumers in the delivery of services and in work activities 5.    Ability to establish and meet timelines 6.    Ability to plan, teach, and implement behavioral change strategies 7.    Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations and to maintain a high standard of ethical conduct modeling such behaviors for consumers and public        consumption 8.    Ability to evaluate the staff, employees and consumers 9.    Database Management skills related to management of performance management systems and data collection programs. 10.  Ability to employ and quantify data analysis of performance indicators and collection management programs to quantify outcome measures. Other Requirements 1.    Must participate in professional development activities as scheduled 2.    Must plan and lead professional development activities 3.    Must be able to represent the Center on and off the campus in such a way as to reflect a positive public image 4.    Must be able to work extended days, nights, and weekends as an administrator and professional employee 5.    Must adhere to and follow the WRC Code of Ethical Conduct demonstrating understanding while performing essential functions of the job, fulfilling other           requirements and using knowledge, skills and abilities in furthering the mission of WRC and in all interactions with consumers, staff and other employees         and the public. 6.    Must be knowledgeable of emergency procedures, accident reporting and proper techniques for assisting individuals with disabilities.
