Supervisor will have responsibility for the smooth and efficient functioning of the Nursing Department and the entire facility. Training/Experience Required: a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Nursing Supervisor, or Charge Nurse; with 2 years' clinical experience; actively engaged in direct patient care/management, recently for a minimum of 2 years; graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, and licensed as a R.N. in the State of AL; and, in possession of active CPR Certification. Responsibilities: verifies facility staffing , daily, upon arrival; completes multiple Rounds on all neighborhoods; monitoring nursing staff performance, daily; assesses residents/patients with changes of status, or any incident occurrence, reported by Nurses, or C.NAs; completes R.N. Assessments, as needed; interprets facility policies and regulations; ensures the maintenance of a safe environment; intervenes in emergency situations that may occur; arranges to cover staff call-outs for all shifts, called in during duty time; speaks with residents/families, as needed; and, serves as a role model, by being professional in appearance, comportment and demeanor, at all times.
