Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach Pharmacy classes in our Pharmacy Technician Program.  This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach Pharmacy Technician courses. The typical teaching load is 2 courses each term. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation. 

Qualifications
  • Completion of a Pharmacy Technician program resulting in a Diploma or Certificate of Completion; associate degree preferred
  • Certification:
    • PTCB and/or
    • CPhT
  • At least three years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized, motivated and results driven
  • Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
