Forklift Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to support warehouse and distribution operations. This position is responsible for operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to move materials, load and unload trucks, stage orders, and maintain inventory accuracy. Candidates with warehouse, shipping, receiving, material handling, or forklift experience are encouraged to apply.

Location: Dothan, AL
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–2:00 PM (hours may vary)

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Move, store, and stage materials throughout the warehouse.
• Secure, wrap, and stack pallets in designated storage locations.
• Scan products and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Support order picking, shipping, receiving, and outbound operations.
• Rotate inventory using FIFO procedures.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report unsafe equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all OSHA guidelines, facility traffic rules, and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift, warehouse, shipping, receiving, or material handling experience preferred.
• Experience operating sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, or reach trucks is a plus.
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely.
• Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required.
