Transporter PT - Coffee Peer

Location:  Coffee       

Pay Rate:  $16/hour

Job Description: This position involves transporting clients participating in an adult day treatment or peer support program.  Provide and complete all daily transportation logs after each run.  Schedule TRIPS for identified clients and complete all necessary paperwork.  Assist with cleaning as needed.

Job Responsibilities:  Monday-Friday

Competencies: 1. Ability to operate vehicles carefully and competently, following all traffic laws. 2. Ability to assist passengers on and off of vehicle and help them with safety restraints. 3. Ability to operate two-way radio and/or cellular telephone 4. Ability to recognize defects in the equipment that impact safety. 5. Ability to perform pre-trip vehicle safety inspection. 6. Ability to clean, fuel and maintain 15 passenger van. 6. Must be proficient with computers.

Required Minimum Qualifications:  High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Georgia driver’s license and clear MVR.  Must be at least 21 years old to transport.
