Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and attentive Pool Attendant to ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all residents. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining pool safety, performing routine pool maintenance, and providing excellent resident services. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about aquatic safety, swimming, and creating positive guest experiences. Prior lifeguard experience and certifications such as CPR are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool area to ensure resident safety at all times
• Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment
• Perform routine pool maintenance including cleaning, chemical testing, and equipment checks
• Assist residents with pool-related questions and provide excellent customer service
• Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents, administering first aid or CPR as needed
• Conduct regular inspections of pool facilities and surrounding areas for cleanliness and safety hazards
• Heavy lifting of supplies or equipment related to pool maintenance when necessary
• Maintain cleanliness of pool decks, chairs, and surrounding areas to ensure a welcoming atmosphere

Requirements

 Qualifications

• Prior lifeguard experience preferred; current Lifeguard certification is a plus
• Valid CPR certification required; First Aid certification is advantageous
• Experience with pool maintenance and cleaning is desirable
• Ability to swim confidently and comfortably in various water conditions
• Strong resident service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks related to pool supplies or equipment
• Good observational skills to identify potential safety issues quickly
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods
