Responsibilities

  • Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services
  • Understand the customer needs and create confident buyers by providing complete and accurate information about our products and pricing
  • Develop key referral sources, build a network and general leads for future sales
  • Establish, nurture, and manage long-term partnerships to maximize mutual success
  • Track performance metrics and continuously optimize for growth
  • Create accurate and complete sales proposals that can be easily transferred to the installation team
  • Promote our company, products, and accessories wherever possible
  • Ensure all scheduled work is performed to the customer鈥檚 satisfaction and resolve any issues or problems



Requirements

  • Must have extensive experience and product knowledge relating to the installation, service, and repair of commercial dock and door opening systems
  • Must be able to manage and appropriately prioritize several tasks and objectives concurrently
  • Must be able to handle confrontational or problematic situations with tact, sensitivity, and a calm demeanor
  • Must have mechanical aptitude and experience in door opening systems which allow for the successful achievement of the assigned business goals and objectives
  • Proven record of accomplishment in B2B sales with the ability to think strategically to create pipelines and meet required goals
  • Financial acumen including the ability to determine if a job is profitable
  • IT competent, previous experience with Microsoft Office and the latest sales applications
  • Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communications
  • Good presentation and public speaking skills
  • Familiar with local codes and can speak to company product lines
