Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Guest Arrival in Lithia Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor entry activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will help maintain a secure, professional environment while supporting site operations through teamwork and integrity. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, employees, and vendors at a front desk location within a logistics and distribution facility by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Manage visitor and contractor access by verifying identification, issuing appropriate credentials, maintaining entry records, and directing individuals to designated areas.
• Monitor incoming calls, alarms, cameras, and access-control activity, and report unusual conditions or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, delivery-related inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs, complete required reports, and communicate shift information, access activity, and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have access control/badge experience, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
